No one can deny the importance of technology invading our daily lives; so whether this technology will be a must have in the same way Smartphones have become, or it’ll be simply just an extra add-on; an unnecessary option. Keeping that in consideration though, Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is likely build up a concrete case for manufacturing a connected device forthe wrist, yet it leaves most of us hanging in between.

According to TechCrunch journalist, Mathew Panzarino: there is a reason, though Apple has a hard time articulating it. Well, how can Apple provide its customers a real good reason to buy Smart Watch, as it’d free most of them from the tyranny of their iPhones?

When it was first revealed, Tim Crook (Apple CEO) remarked it to be “our most personal device”But what, exactly, does this mean? Personal technology? Isn’t our phone already woven deeply enough into our lives? Don’t we already spend enough time with our face in front of a screen? How is personal technology actually a good thing?

Smartwatch certainly does some new things, like monitoring hear rates, informing about a specific time duration during which a consumer has been sitting in one place, alerting with a discreet tap, it definitely will serve the same functions as iPhone, only with a different screen size. However, given the lack of room to interact with apps and consumer content, it could be argued that the Smartwatch is step backward.

According to Panzarino:

“People that have worn the Watch say that they take their phones out of their pockets far, far less than they used to. A simple tap to reply or glance on the wrist or dictation is a massively different interaction model than pulling out an iPhone, unlocking it and being pulled into its merciless vortex of attention suck.”

Furthermore, Panzarino argues this is a compelling reason for customers to buy and enjoy the Apple Watch.

“If you argue the Watch isn’t going to sell or do well, it’s worth pointing out that there are very, very, very few products that allow you to hand someone cash and be given back TIME.”

Asserting that the Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) Watch will help customers use their iPhones less is easier said than done. Could the vast majority of Apple Watch wearers end up too connected and less engaged than ever?
