The 2015 edition of the biggest mobile device event in the world, Mobile World Congress, wrapped up in Barcelona and the time has come to look back at the wild ride it took us through. This year many new smartphones and tablets are launched but also offered exciting new experiences.

The privately owned Swedish furniture maker IKEA has put a big technology twist with the launch of a new line of furniture that consists of lamps and desks using wireless charging technology called as Qi. The chargers, which sends a current from a coil in a charging pad to a coil embedded in the smartphone or tablet, will be available in Europe and North America on April 15.

Just ahead of the Apple Watch launch, LG this week released its first smartwatch that uses 4G LTE (long-term evolution). It is an android wear primarily made up of stainless steel and also runs on webOS, the same operating system as LG’s smart TVs, instead of Google’s platform for wearables. One can make calls and receive text messages and doesn’t require connecting the watch to a smartphone. The LG Watch Urbane LTE has been compared to a walkie-talkie with “unlimited range to talk to multiple parties at the same time,” said LG.

Chinese smartphone company Xiaomi launched a newest action-ready camera called the Yi Action Camera that is expected to be a GoPro-like camera but sell at about half the cost at $64. In start, it will be available only in China.

Samsung, which competes with Apple, unveiled the latest-generation Galaxy but has adopted a sleeker glass and metal fitting instead of plastic casings. Additional features attracting toward the phone are an updated fingerprint sensor that no longer requires the swiping motion and an infrared heart-rate monitor. It set to be launched globally on April 10. The company also launched a new mobile payment technology, simply called Samsung Pay.

Lenovo announced a brand-new pocket projector that has the ability to project streaming video from a phone to a wall or other surface with 110 inches in diagonal width. It has two built-in speakers and a battery that lasts 2.5 hours. The battery life of the 4×4-inches projector is rather low at 2.5 hours and has two built-in speakers. Pocket Projector will hit the market in June at a price of $250.
