Bank of America Corp (BAC) and Wells Fargo & Co (WFC) appear to incorporate Apple (AAPL) Pay into ATMs

TechCrunch, technology news website reported Wells Fargo & Co (WFC) and Bank of America Corp (BAC) are functioning to incorporate mobile payment system Apple Pay into their ATMs.

The banks, have positioned engineers to figure the Apple Pay options, on Thursday reported TechCrunch, citing somebody acknowledged regarding this matter.

Bank of America told Reuters presently it is working on a new cardless ATM solution, and plans to reveal it in late February to allies at select ATMs in San Francisco, Silicon Valley,  Charlotte, Boston and New York tracked by a mid-year broader customer launch.

Since the Apple pay service launch Bank of America has been a partner of it, even though reps wouldn’t authorize to TechCrunch that Apple Pay would be the mobile wallet of choice when its restricted rollout of upgraded ATMs initiates in late February.

TechCrunch said that, it is not clear how Apple Pay will work at ATMs, however Apple denied to comment. Wells Fargo, which presently supports Android Pay mobile wallet of Google, said that in the second quarter of this year, it is in plans to roll out technology to attach ATMs to digital wallets. In an e-mail, the bank also said that it is evaluating superfluous wallets.

CNBC reported on Tuesday that, this year JPMorgan Chase & Co (JPM) also has plans to roll out card-free ATMs.
