During the announcement event of the Galaxy Note 8, which took place in New York last week, Samsung confirmed that it will be present at IFA 2017 with several new features for users. One of them may be a new version of its 360-degree camera, called the Gear 360. At least that’s what an application sent by Samsung to the Intellectual Property Office of the European Union indicates.
According to what has been revealed, this new device may be duly announced during IFA 2017, but unfortunately nothing has been commented on the news of this new Gear 360 and its main features, which should only be commented by Samsung at the beginning of the next month. Anyway, we can make some speculations, like the presence of a tripod, as in other versions, and a circular format.
It is worth remembering that the latest version of Gear 360 was announced at the end of March during the launch event of the Galaxys S8 and S8 Plus. At the time it received several improvements, the main one being the support for recordings in 4K resolution, something present in all the top smartphones of the present time. In addition, it also has integration with the iPhones, allowing owners of Apple devices can use the Gear 360.
All details of this new Gear 360 will be revealed during IFA 2017, which will begin on the first day of September. There will also be presented various smartphones and visitors will have the first contact with Galaxy Note 8, which should be the main attraction of the event.

The new version of Gear VR comes with a single purpose: to be compatible with the new phablet – seeing that the model launched with the Galaxy S8 in the beginning of the year does not support the device.
