As per press releases by industry tracker IDC, the growth rate of smartphone trafficking has lowered with 10% – a first time as it’s seen when demand in China has begun to slow down slightly. As Chinese market becomes a replacement and while demands lose down their momentum in other Asian, Latin American and Western European countries, the expectations depict worldwide shipment to likely halt at 9.8% to 1.43 billion units.

Despite of a tough competition with Chinese up-takers like Xiaomi, Alphabet’s Operating System Android is expected to broaden up its share circle gradually from 81% to 82%. Likewise, for Apple’s Operating System iOS, there’re no further forecasts except for a static figure ranging between 14%-15%. However, on raising 4Q estimates of iPhone, IDC cited strong demand for iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 6s Plus.

In contrary to this, Apple’s numbers match up with that of independent analyst Mixpanel which is using a different methodology to Apple – the former is based on analysis of real-time analytics data gathered from installed applications in the iOS ecosystem, while Apple has the more loosely defined measured by the App Store on November 30th.

Fortunate is Apple here where it has rolled out few alternations in its iOS on a very short notice which had led to win the hearts of its admirers in no time. Ofcourse Google might not like it as Apple knows how to steal away Android lovers’ hearts. Google has been criticized previously for dealing with systematic flaws that had been prompted by users frequently. Inadequately, unable to fulfill its users’ desires, it has raised user friendly queries upon Android. Why would someone wait till Android forces to change the core experience of its technology – makes sense or not? Whereas iOS ability is what is increasing liked and adapted rapidly as compared to Alphabet’s Android. Despite of bugs, issues and numerous updates, iOS still rules in the hearts of people globally.
