For the first time LG has launched a bulky featured, slim, reliable, smooth and eye-catching Gram lineup in U.S

Over the years LG is serving U.S audience with its innovative and reliable TVs, home appliances, and smartphones. While receiving warm welcome from the U.S audience in these areas, now the firm is betting on its new high-end notebooks.

For the first time LG has launched its Ultra slim Gram notebook series to U.S audience in a bid to grab larger chunk of revenue from this tech-hungry market. The latest laptops are very light weight even more than the Apple Inc’s(NASDAQ:AAPL) 13-inch MacBook Air.

LG has introduced two editions of its Gram series lineup. The smaller version retain a display size of 13.3-inch, while the other one comes with 14-inch display. Both editions weigh just 980 grams. Physically both models are slim, reliable, smooth and eye-catching. Both are merely 0.5” or 12.5mm thick, which make them portable. Their outer body is covered with carbon-lithium and carbon-magnesium, adding the quality of impact resistant to Grams.

Both models are available in two different attracting colors. The 13.3 inch product has a white coating and other 14-inch version will be gold.

The latest LG Grams have a 1080p IPS display, making the visual quality of the notebook displaying content is excellent.

On features end, the device has got healthy specs ratio. Both models are equipped with Intel’s Broadwell 15w processor lineup. The entry-level Core i5-5200U laptop has a processing capability of 2.2 GHz. While the 14-inch version arrived with Intel’s Core i7 processor. Both laptops have 8 GB of RAM with smaller version comes with 128 GB of SSD and the larger one with 256 GB. Both versions are supported on Microsoft’s windows 10 software.

Besides, other necessary pinning such as for sharing data between mobile and laptop, connecting keyboard or mouse and Ethernet cable to notebook are also available. There is HDMI port in both versions which allows sharing of the screen of notebook with other viewing mediums. A dual USB 3.0, SDXC card reader and a micro USB connector ports are also part of the Gram series Laptops.

One of the most important area in which every firm desires to be the best is the battery life of the product. According to firm, the laptop battery runs for an average 7.5 hours, yet the battery is just a 35 Wh model so it has a pretty big disadvantage over other Ultrabooks.

Both models are available through the Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) and Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) retailing platforms. At Amazon the two 14-inch models are available at $999 for the base Core i5 plus 128GB spec, or $1,399 for an upgraded Core i7 and 256GB combination. While the 13.3 inch base model starts with a price tag of $899.
