The Japanese corporation has sold million units of its (PS4) games console worldwide over the last two years

As per reports, amazingly astonishing in business platform, Sony Corporation has announced to be reaching approx. 30.2 million in sales through its popular console i.e. PlayStation 4 (PS4) since its launch in year 2013. This so far is a best response to its competitor Xbox One.

It is worth mentioning that the sales record have an estimate till 22nd
November 2015. The sales have also depicted console’s global popularity during holiday season.

On reviewing previous sales estimates, in March 2015, PlayStation 4 (PS4) sales had reach till 20.2 million units, which comes down to around 1.25 million units per month, up until November.

As per Wall Street Journal, Sony is planning to sell of another 17.5 million units by upcoming next year in March (the end of its present fiscal year). Moreover, With Black Friday this week and Cyber Monday early next week, PlayStation 4 (PS4) sales are bound to go up, given the massive discounts on offer.

It might not be wrong to predict the company to be hitting a target worth 17.5 million units by that time. As per Sony itself:

“Play Station 4 (PS4) continues to demonstrate the fastest and strongest growth in PlayStation hardware history”.

Apart from all this, Microsoft has not made any announcement yet regarding its console’s sales figures for the current month. Official figures from Microsoft have been vague entirely.

Keeping in consideration this year’ earnings (three months’ time duration – till June 30th), Microsoft gave an estimates of sales of a Q to be approx. 1.4 million due to its Xbox consoles. And that too had an uncertainty of how many current and previous versions of Xbox were actually sold.

In addition to all this, Nintendo’s Wii U, launched in November in year 2012 (a year before Play Station 4 and Xbox One) depicts a sales estimate of 10.73 million units by September 2015.
